Ebisu

My short stay in Shinjuku was (thankfully) over and it was time to move over a station south of Shibuya, Ebisu.

It’s a pretty chill vibe here, there is a main road that is relatively busy.

But if you go a block away from the main street, you have more low-key areas like this.

Even stumbled across an old Ford.

After I dropped off my luggage to store at the hotel until check-in, I had a walk around the area. Eventually ending up near the Yebisu Garden Palace/Brewery.

It has a very large plaza is a lot of brickwork. There was also a little handmade market going on this day.

It also appears that Lawry’s (the seasoning salt people) have a restaurant here.

Farther down the street there was an overpass where I had a good view of the train tracks and can see the many Yamanote line trains pass through.

And once again I’ve found another building that inexplicably has a ball as part of the design. This was a driving school of all things.
