Kobe day means taking a brief, 1 hour, train from Osaka West.
On our way to lunch before the zoo, we visited a gacha store, where I saw a selection of very similar offerings I’ve seen all trip. This fisher-price toys one stood out.
It was a bit chilly out today, but thankfully the zoo is mostly indoors.
It’s hard to get pictures in the nocturnal area, but here is a cloud rat.
There was also some high speed sloth action.
And this bird did this for at least 5 minutes straight.
Once we returned to Dotonbori, we went to Ichiran, a ramen chain that is heavily lauded and hated online for various reasons. Regardless, I sat at the first booth at this location, so can anyone else really say they had the real Ichiran.
