It was the last full day in Japan. I went on a bit of a whirlwind tour of East Tokyo. Starting with Uguisadani, the least used stop on the popular Yamanote Line.
Only around 24,000 people use this station each day, compared to the busiest station on Yamanote, Shinjuku, which has an average of 3.5 million users a day.

It was a quiet and small station, only a couple lines I saw go through.
I decided to get lunch there since I assumed it would also be a quiet area in terms of how many people were at restaurants.
I went to a large family restaurant chain in Japan, Cafe Gusto. I saw my waiter taking a nap near the kitchen (orders are placed via tablet).

Once your order is ready, it is delivered via a robot cat (BellaBots).
Obligatory Sakura near the station.

One station down from Uguisadani, is Ueno. I stayed here last year and visited the park earlier in this trip as well. At that time there was only one or two Sakura in bloom, but now, they all were.

A couple stops further down, I was back in the familiar land of Akihabara. After coming out of a retro game store, I stumbled on a Honda Beat.

A bit west of Akiba is a station near Kanda River that has multiple lines that intersect. At some times of the day, all 3 of these lines’ timetables line up for a picture where they are all running at once.
Sadly, the closest I got was 2/3 twice. I didn’t look up when the times for this would be, and wasn’t super dedicated to get that picture.
Also, all of this in the water is Sakura petals.

Finally, in the evening I met up with the co-worker from yesterday. We ended up walking to Tokyo Tower since it was near both of our hotels.
