Only a single stop away via subway from Nagoya station was my room for F1 weekend. This was actually a bit larger than some rooms I’ve stayed in, but a far cry from the apartment I was just at in Osaka.
As a side note, this hotel normally costs less than half of what I paid per night. But it’s a big event weekend, so what can you expect. It’s still cheaper than any offering I saw closer to the track at the time of booking.
While not the firmest bed I’ve had here, it’s a rough one as there is seemingly no padding on the top, so you can feel the spring structure below the fabric.

A slightly larger unit bath than normal is always welcome. Unfortunately, this toilet/bidet is probably the worst one I’ve used. Missing features, oddly ineffective, and the loudest flushing I’ve ever heard.
But don’t fret, I have a wonderful view of the building next door.
Honestly though, I love having a window for knowing the time of day and because I can open it in case I need to cool the room down.
