Saying goodbye to my hotel in Asakusa, I dropped off my suitcase for my 3rd hotel where I would be staying the next day in Shinjuku.
We took the opportunity to visit the famous Kabukicho district nearby.
There are a lot of things this area is known for, both good and bad. We only had one goal, to see areas that are prominent in the Yakuza game franchise, which a good majority takes place in a fictional version of Kabukicho, called Kamurocho.
We were also on the hunt for some of the limited time Yakuza vending machines. We weren’t 100% sure if they would be around still, but we found some in 2 known locations of the 3 we checked.
